Booking Conditions
- BOOKINGS: Provisional bookings can be made and held for 10
days. However your booking will remain unconfirmed until your completed
booking form together with a deposit is received. The accommodation
is only for the numbers of persons shown on the booking form and any
changes should be notified before arrival.
- PAYMENT OF DEPOSIT: A non-refundable deposit of £50
per week is required.
Upon receipt of your deposit an acknowledgement will be sent in writing.
Receipt of a deposit does not imply acceptance of a booking. We reserve
the right to cancel prior to 4 weeks of the holiday commencement date
for any reason. Within the 4 week period cancellation will only occur
for reasons outside our control. Monies received in respect of any
booking so cancelled shall be refunded.
- PAYMENT OF BALANCE: The balance is due four weeks before
your arrival. No reminder will be sent.
- LATE BOOKINGS: Bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival date
require full payment with booking form.
- ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE: Your cottage will be ready for you
to take over from 4pm at the start of your holiday. Please ring if
you anticipate arriving later so that arrangements can be made. Please
do not arrive early, as time is needed to clean the cottage between
lets. For the same reason we ask that you vacate the cottage by 10.00
am on your departure day.
- CLEANING: The cottage is cleaned between lets, but as there
is a limited time to do this we would appreciate if the property and
its contents were left clean and tidy on departure.
- BREAKAGES AND DAMAGES: These are the legal responsibility
of the hirer and must be reported and paid for prior to departure.
If any damage is not so reported or paid for an invoice for such damage
will be sent to the hirer payable within 14 days of receipt.
- FAULTS/ COMPLAINTS: Any faults or complaints must be reported
to us immediately so that any action required can be taken immediately.
- LIABILITY: We do not accept liability for damage or bodily
injury unless caused by the proven negligent act or omission of ourselves,
and/or any agent of the same while acting in the course of employment.
This includes loss or damage to vehicles and their contents and any
of your or any member of your partys possessions. Please note
that Invercassley Cottage has three large unfenced pond areas within
its grounds and therefore may not be suitable for parties containing
small children. All parents must supervise their children in the grounds
at all times and take full responsibility of their care and supervision.
- CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations must be made in writing. We
reserve the right to decide what refund shall be made if any, and
any refunds must be sanctioned by us in writing. Deposits are not
refunded. Guests may wish to take out a personal holiday insurance
protection scheme.
